Purpose of the Job:

This is an excitingopportunity as Senior Process Engineer to provide manufacturing support to the newproducts team. This is not just a conventional engineering job. You need to beable to innovate in product and process. You will make use of your skills, tocreate next generation Chip On Board (COB) lighting solutions from scratch ontime and within budget. You will own & drive the task of setting up aproduction line managing planning, procurement and implementation of new plat& manufacturing process. You will work within multidisciplinary teams, andhave plenty of opportunity to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Define and manage tools required for assembling large area COBprocess

Define and manage phosphor recipes for LED applications.

-
Manage all materials including LED die, phosphor, silicone, MCPCB,gold or aluminium wire etc. for engineering development.

Develop and optimize phosphor coating and curing processes anddevelop other assembly processes.

Create production control processes to manage COB batches andsuppliers for production.

Improve yields on LED COBs through improvement in processing andselection of appropriate tools and materials.

Enthusiastic, comfortable in an early-stage or start-upenvironment, and keen to contribute to a high growth business

Essential Experience:

-
Hands-on experience in COB LED lighting assembly process

Previous experience in setting up COB LED manufacturing plantwould be a plus.

Experience in phosphor recipe development, coating processdevelopment & control and monitoring processes

Experience with phosphor converted LED lighting technology inparticular Optical and Thermal reliability

Experience with silicone phosphor mixed systems, includingcomposition and homogeneity, thickness, viscosity, adhesion, surfaceproperties, etc.

Responsible team player with good collaborative skills and theability to quickly adapt to change

Qualifications andSkills:

Fluent in Spoken and Written English and Good University Degree orEquivalent
